Whether you are planning a "traditional" funeral or a home funeral, this website provides lots of information to help you be an informed consumer. The site provides an amazing amount of information and support regarding the history of home funerals, reasons for having a home funeral, and detailed instructions and videos on after death care of the body. *When viewing this website, keep in mind it is Canadian based and rules and regulations may differ in Arkansas. .
Green Burial Council
A nonprofit organization helping organizations and individuals to understand the environmental, societal and economic benefits of green burial. The website provides a directory of caskets, urns, and shrouds. In addition, there is a directory of GBC approved caskets, urns and shrouds that must be constructed from plant-derived, recycled plant-derived, natural, animal, or unfired earthen materials, including shell, liner, and adornments.
