Whether you are planning a "traditional" funeral or a home funeral, this website provides lots of information to help you be an informed consumer. Includes advice on your legal rights, staying within your budget, and dangers of pre-payed funerals. Excellent advice for help in lowering funeral costs.

The site provides an amazing amount of information and support regarding the history of home funerals, reasons for having a home funeral, and detailed instructions and videos on after death care of the body. *When viewing this website, keep in mind it is Canadian based and rules and regulations may differ in Arkansas. .
Green Burial Council
A nonprofit organization helping organizations and individuals to understand the environmental, societal and economic benefits of green burial. The website provides a directory of caskets, urns, and shrouds. In addition, there is a directory of GBC approved caskets, urns and shrouds that must be constructed from plant-derived, recycled plant-derived, natural, animal, or unfired earthen materials, including shell, liner, and adornments.
